Dude. I’m not one to brag. Well not alot anyway, but….I am a really good snowboarder. Also, what I didn’t know is that I have a more super expert teacher than I thought. Who knew Andy snowboards double black diamonds.

On the last run today I was able to go down a super steep (for me) slope turning left and right all the way down and coming to a sharp, snow spraying stop. If you could have seen me behind my neoprene face mask, you would have seen me grinning from ear to ear.

It was freezing cold, and for the first time, I felt none of it because I finally, after all of Andy’s prodding, was properly dressed for sub zero temperatures. I think I could make friends with snow. It’s not so bad when you don’t have to shovel it or drive to work in it.
